To Mr John Duncan, Butcher, Dunedin.
Sir, I am instructed by the Town Board of Dunedin, to communicate to you the following Resolution of the Board viz " That it is not advisable to have a Slaughter House, within the limits of a Town".
I am further instructed to inform you, that the present Slaughter House in Dunedin, will be shut up on and after the 12th day of March next.
